North Harbour Hockey WETT Dressed install well underway

Work is well underway on the new TigerTurf WETT Dressed surface at North Harbour Hockey.  North Harbour is finally replacing its old Harbour #4 sand filled hockey field after 22 years of loyal service.  The old surface has been lifted, repairs made to the base and new rubber underlay is being installed.   

Over the next few weeks the new WETT Dressed surface will be laid, transforming the weary old pitch to a versatile all round, all-weather surface that can be used from premier reserves down, as well as club trainings.   North Harbour already has three other TigerTurf Hockey surfaces, two TT37’s and one state of the art WETT (Water Efficient TigerTurf) pitch.   

The new surface at North Harbour is one of five new Hockey pitches already completed this year with a further five confirmed to be installed over the 2011 summer.  These include Auckland Hockey at Lloyd Elsmore Park, Wellington Hockey, Greymouth, Nunweek Park in Christchurch and Counties.
