Bowls clubs return to TigerTurf

During 2006 four clubs returned to TigerTurf to install another Synthetic bowling green after the success of their existing green.
Bunbury bowling club in W.A. installed two Supergreen II in June 2002 and has reported continued praise from members and visitors alike. The clubs third Supergreen II surface will be installed before Christmas. The club has reported a consistant 15 second green over fours years and no complaints of scratched bowls. The TigerTurf methods of installation reduce bowls scratching to a minimum while allowing a smooth free running green.
Barooga Sports club installed their first Bowlsweave woven green in August 2004 and immediately increased tournament numbers at the club. After installation of a second Bowlsweave this year the club reported that club events are now booked out well in advance, a first for the popular club on the NSW / Victorian border.
Pinjarra bowling club in W.A. installed their first Bowlsweave green in January of this year, the green was such a success the club voted to install another woven green straight away due to lack of interest in the remaining grass green.
After disappointment with two previous synthetic installations Halls Head recreation club, one hour South of Perth near Mandurah, installed their first TigerTurf woven green in 2005.The green proved so popular that the club decided to install a second Bowlsweave woven surface this year. The green was installed during September as scheduled in time for the approaching pennant season.
The consistent quality offered by the TigerTurf team has clearly been acknowledged by bowling clubs throughout Australia.
