TigerTurf, the UK's leading manufacturer of synthetic sports and leisure surfaces have supplied their new Challenger product for an installation at the Lacon Childe School in Cleobury Mortimer, Shropshire. The new multi-use sports pitch is part of a £2 million refurbishment programme which also includes natural turf surfaces. It will provide a much needed facility for both the school and community with local football team Kidderminster Harriers also making use of the surface for training.

TigerTurf's innovative Challenger product marks a breakthrough in sports surfacing technology from which a new generation of football and hockey players are already benefiting. Lacon Childe will actively encourage schools within the South Shropshire School Sport Partnership to share the facility in order to provide more opportunities for intra and inter-school sport, as well as increase participation in festivals and community clubs.
