Reclaimed land at Chiswick Common, London has been developed to provide a much needed community sports facility. Leading synthetic sports surface manufacturer TigerTurf have provided a multi-games surface area based on eight five-a-side football pitches.

TigerTurf's MT24 multi-use carpet was laid over rubber pads which absorb impact when a player falls.  Sand was then applied as an infill to provide a surface which meets the demands of a range of sports.  Each of the eight pitches have been marked up for five-a-side football and tennis but they will also be used for other sports such as netball and basketball.  It is anticipated that the facility will be used by the surrounding community for coaching and the organisation of leagues for participants of all ages.  A clubhouse and coffee shop have also been built to encourage parents to socialise while their children are participating in sport.

In the evenings one can see tennis, netball and five a side all being played alongside each other.
