New TigerTurf Tennis Courts for Alcester

Alcester Tennis Club’s members are excited at the prospect of springing into action on their four fabulous new tennis courts.
The tennis courts have been installed by Chiltern Sports and are made of the very latest in synthetic grass from TigerTurf.
For tennis players artificial turf is their preferred surface as it offers excellent play characteristics and is less affected by adverse weather conditions than any other surface. TigerTurf Advantage is a short pile product, which takes the spin of the ball and offers excellent grip. Players of all ages and abilities benefit from the added resilience offered by the dense fibre.
To help launch the new Spring tennis season LTA (Lawn Tennis Association) president Peter Bretherton visited the Moorfields Road club to open the new courts on Wednesday, April 13. Club chairman Peter Bostock said: "We are delighted with our new court surfaces from TigerTurf, they are different to most other sand-filled artificial grass courts in that you play on the surface, not on the sand."
The Moorfields Road club has smashed its way through to serve up a match-winning £70,000 to pay for the new courts and now has the very best artificial tennis courts in the area courtesy of TigerTurf.
