Stuart Pearce Helps Celebrate New TigerTurf Pitch at Paignton Community & Sports College

Stuart Pearce, a former England footballer, Premiership Manager, current Assistant England Coach and U21 England Manager, helped open and celebrate the brand new £1.5 million FIFA 2* TigerTurf pitch at Paignton Community & Sports College.
Invited guests alongside Stuart Pearce included Mayor Gordon Oliver, Torbay Councillers, representatives from Devon FA, primary and secondary head teachers and important members of the local community. The project, which was funded with the help of a grant from the Football Foundation, will provide a versatile artificial surface, which is ideal for the 48 adult football teams playing in small, sided leagues along with numerous community clubs using the centre and a venue for girl’s football.

Paignton Community Sports College and the local community will have access to the fantastic new TigerTurf pitch, which will play a central role in helping people to stay fit, strengthen communities and promote responsibility amongst young people.
