Complete Football is about to launch their new development and training centre based in the North East. This exciting project involves the whole community, including local football clubs and schools, and is set to bring a level of experience in football coaching and training to the local community only seen before at the UK's top clubs.

Backed by football legends Kenny Dalglish and Paul Bracewell, Complete Football's aim is to be the UK leader in providing training and development centres and football for all, regardless of age, gender, ethnic group, social background or ability level. Their mission is to give everyone within the catchment areas the opportunity to mimic their football heroes and grasp the fundamental rewards that only football can deliver.

We are all aware of the key benefits football participation can provide to all aspects of society. Complete Football will be relentless in its quest to ensure that participation is provided for all and that specific focus be given to groups that are currently under-represented in football, both professionally and at amateur level.

This new facility will assist with the success of professional Football Clubs situated in the area by discovering, nurturing and developing local talent. Through the provision of accessible and affordable facilities of excellence, encouraging participation, developing ability levels for both players and coaching staff, Complete Football's aim is to discover and pass on the international players and managers of the future.

Part of this project is to deliver Football on a surface which has all the playing characteristics of the highest level football pitch, combined with the extreme durability needed in a facility that is expected to be at full capacity seven days a week. To take up this challenge Complete Football brought in TigerTurf, experts in the sports surfacing industry.

Over the past 18 months Complete Football have been working closely with TigerTurf's' Research and Development team based in the West Midlands, creating a surface that meets all the highest national and international standards. With a bespoke design "Complete Turf" displays the very latest in playability and look.

The new Complete Turf full sized pitch will be tested to FIFA 2 Star level when installed at the Newcastle site and is expected to be rolled out throughout the UK with Complete Football aiming to install 20 sites over the next 5 years. Try out this fantastic new surface on the Simon Smith Goal Keeping arena at this years Grass Roots Football Show at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry on 9th and 10th June.

Complete Football have also selected TigerTurf for the multiple 5 a-side areas which utilise a more durable community level surface. The TigerTurf Challenger surface is tested to FIFA 1 Star and is already hugely popular in schools and community projects throughout the UK, largely due to its unrivalled durability.

Complete Football is already in talks with other districts, who are keen to receive this unique football venture.
