TigerTurf’s Jennie Bimson on track for the Olympics

After months of training TigerTurf’s Jennie Bimson has been selected in the Great Britain Hockey squad for the Beijing Olympics this summer. Jennie, who has won over 170 caps for England and Great Britain was absolutely thrilled to make the squad and hopes to make a big impact on the pitch.

Jennie said, ‘I was overjoyed to be selected for the Olympic team, it is an absolutely fantastic opportunity and the whole squad is looking forward to playing in Beijing’.

Jennie, a local to Kidderminster, where the UK TigerTurf manufacturing plant is based, is a valuable member of the TigerTurf team. Working with the in house R&D department Jennie has brought valuable hockey knowledge to help create the first water efficient hockey surface. TigerTurf WETT (Water Efficient TigerTurf) is currently installed at Cannock Hockey Club and they are so delighted with the surface a second pitch has already been ordered.

TigerTurf will be avidly following the Great Britain Hockey Team throughout the Olympics and would like to wish Jennie and all the team the best of luck in Beijing.
