TigerTurf and its installation partners; Miracle, Wickstead, Kestrel and Active Leisure received a warm welcome at this years SALTEX show, an annual event for grounds care, sports amenities, landscaping and estate management. The outdoor event took place from the 5-7 September at Windsor Racecourse and is the only show of its kind in the UK where over 15,000 visitors flock to see hundreds of live working demonstrations, new product launches and attend expert advice clinics and education programmes.

TigerTurf were in attendance supplying the grass and offering technical support for all their construction partners exhibiting at the show. Wickstead Leisure who won the Gold award for the best stand had an extremely positive event, generating wide ranging interest in their play and sport areas;

"The stand was very well received with plenty of interest in the TigerTurf Surface; we have had a number of enquiries from the show and quoted on one job who specified a TigerTurf surface” Brian Baggaely Wickstead Leisure."

TigerTurf's Managing Director Bryn Lee was also on hand representing SAPCA delivering a presentation on the benefits of artificial systems and how it's now used in various applications from club sports, educational play/sport areas and landscaping.

TigerTurf supplied one of their latest Football specific products ER63, sand and rubber dressed product to sport surface contractors Kestrel, who working in conjunction with the Football Foundation supplied a football pitch and organised penalties to be taken by the public against the former Everton and Wales goalkeeper Neville Southall.

The former goalkeeping legend had plenty of praise for the artificial turf and enjoyed the softer landing and performance offered from the TigerTurf system.

Tigerturf and their partners will be back next year, hopefully winning more awards, attracting more customers and representing artificial surface solutions in the SALTEX 2007 exhibition.
