Secondary & FE
With society changing , sport has become more important for peoples fitness, health and enjoyment.
This has been recognised by communities, clubs and governing bodies alike. Combining certain sports has never been easy - tennis is played on short, cut grass whereas soccor is played on softer turf with longer grass blades. Yet the need to provide one area for a number of different users has led to the multi-sport facility.
Probably more public money has been invested in markets such as the UK for multi sport areas than any one sport. Hockey combines with tennis or soccer in most council owned pitches, and the result is a fitter and happier local community.
Variations of economical TigerTurf products, infilled with sand and laid over rubber pads offer basic systems for recreational level sport. More advanced systems, costing more initially, provide longer life and better performance, pleasing owners and users at the same time.
