Pound Lane gets Pro Value

The new pitch was installed by Premier Partner McArdle Sport-Tec Ltd. at the Pound Lane site, and was project managed by Boddingtons Planning. This excellent addition to the Sports Club attracted both England men and women teams coached by Jason Lee and Karen Brown, to play against the Marlow Hockey Club squads.

John Fordham, Chairman of the Sports Club, and Graham Sweet, Chairman of Marlow Hockey Club, thanked all concerned for a job well done, and emphasised how this new facility would help the club especially with their junior development programme.

The TigerTurf Evo Pro surface has already attracted interested visitors from neighbouring counties who are also looking to produce similar facilities, and the F.I.H. put out a press release on how well this surface can also accommodate other sports which often makes a substantial difference for ongoing commercial viability.
