TigerTurf makes Allt-yr-yn Tennis Club the envy of all welsh rivals

TigerTurf have given Welsh tennis club Allt-yr-yn a huge Advantage over their competitors across Wales with the successful installation of four of their ground-breaking new synthetic courts.

Allt-yr-yn, one of the leading clubs in Wales, are the proud owners of four of TigerTurf’s new Advantage surface – the first time they have ever been installed into a private club.

And TigerTurf are also playing a crucial role in helping discover the next GB tennis star to follow the lead of Andy Murray by sponsoring four of the club’s junior members for the LTA Junior Coaching Award.

TigerTurf’s research and development unit has developed the Advantage court into the most advanced synthetic tennis surface on the market and it has had a huge impact at Allt-yr-yn according to head coach Richard Jones.

"The high quality of the new courts has created an exciting buzz around the club resulting in increased membership and greater retention of existing members,” he said.

“The surface lends itself to a range of game styles and is beneficial for players with mobility issues and we could not be more pleased with them.

“TigerTurf carried out the management of the courts in an approachable and professional manner with ongoing support and advice for club officials."

 Allt-yr-yn has experienced an upsurge in membership at the club because of the new Advantage courts, which have also been supplied with four new sets of nets by TigerTurf.

It is the first time they have used a synthetic surface for their hard courts and winter training has been over-subscribed this year.
