North Allegheny High Takes Pride in Setting Bar High, Chooses Sports Construction Group & its Signature Turf

A 30-year veteran in the athletic department, Bozzuto said North Allegheny High has earned a reputation for quality products and workmanship.

“Our kids work hard, our parents work hard, our staff works hard. We like setting the bar higher.”

He said he’d been a proponent of other systems until he was exposed to Signature Turf from SCG. “This turf is less abrasive, it feels like grass and it plays like grass. We would not have been as comfortable with another manufacturer.

“I had no concerns about SCG getting the job done well. We didn’t even worry about having contingency plans – we knew they’d deliver when they said they would.

He added that SCG did a phenomenal job on the sub-base, which is critical to the quality and longevity of the turf system.
