Waveny Park Sports "Top of the Line" TigerTurf; Sports Construction Group's Value Engineering, Workmanship Applauded

Global synthetic turf manufacturer TigerTurf continues to extend its paw print in the Americas, this time at a community facility in New Canaan, Connecticut.

The turf was recommended to the Town of New Canaan by Ohio-based Sports Construction Group, the Town's General Contractor for the field system project.

Tiger Mann, project manager on the job and Senior Engineer for the Town of New Canaan, was pleased with both TigerTurf and Sports Construction Group:

"SCG was very professional, easy to work with and their attention to detail was excellent. And they provided us with some alternatives to help reduce cost, including value engineering.

They wanted a great job; the fact that they went beyond pride in their work was refreshing. It made my job much easier.

If we had another project I'd recommend using SCG again. I've been doing this for 20 years and they rank in the top three companies I've worked with.

As for the turf, we're very pleased with the quality of the TigerTurf system, and the company got the turf to the site ahead of time, which was a boon given our short timeframe.
