Southern Ideal Home Show Chooses TigerTurf to Showcase Featured Home

TigerTurf Chosen as Backdrop for Debut of “Green,” Low Maintenance Home at Southern Ideal Home Show

The latest in environment-friendly, low maintenance home construction was featured at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex (Greensboro, N.C.) last week, and with it renewable, easily maintained TigerTurf synthetic grass.
A home designed to be “green” from top to bottom was built inside the coliseum for the show and surrounded by TigerTurf synthetic grass, according to Gary Bradley, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for synthetic grass installation company GreenCreation, Inc. A TigerTurf Authorized Representative, GreenCreation installed the grass at the March 26-28 show.
“Our grass serves as a lovely, practical framework and backdrop for this advanced technology home,” he noted. “We’re proud that TigerTurf delivers the environmental sustainability, aesthetics and low maintenance qualities this project embodies.”
Greensboro-based GreenCreation was also an exhibitor at the Southern Ideal Home Show. Afterward, Bradley said he expects his company will be part of the team that dissembles and reassembles the home and synthetic grass for Victory Junction, a charity organization located in Randleman, N.C.
The charity, which receives support from Richard and Linda Petty, provides camp opportunities to children with chronic medical conditions or serious illnesses. “The folks at Victory Junction have a huge impact on the families of these children. We would be honored to help them,” said Bradley.
GreenCreation has also been asked to develop a synthetic grass exhibit for the first ever Southern Green Living Show, which will be held April 23-24 at the Greensboro Coliseum’s Special Events Center. The event, which coincides with Earth Day, is dedicated to educating the public about easy and workable solutions for leading a more sustainable lifestyle.
“We look forward to sharing solutions that address environmental concerns at both shows,” said Bradley.
GreenCreation, which distributes, creates and installs sport field and commercial and residential landscape solutions throughout the Southeast and Caribbean, recently installed a TigerTurf system for ABC Television’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.
