The American Sports Builders Association (ASBA) recently announced Texas Sports Builders as the winner in the Multi-Purpose Turf category for not one but two projects -- Royse City High School and Forney High School football stadiums -- both located just outside of Dallas.
The ASBA, the national organization for builders and suppliers of materials for tennis courts, running tracks and synthetic turf, annually recognizes sport facilities which exemplify construction excellence. A panel of ASBA members judges entries on elements such as layout and design, site work drainage, base construction, surface, amenities, innovation, and overall impression.
Presentation of awards will be made at the 2008 ASBA Technical Meeting at the Astor Crowne Plaza on December 7th in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Facility of the Year Award Winners will be presented at the closing night dinner on December 9th.
