Austin Reagan High School (Austin, TX) will officially unveil it’s new baseball field on Tuesday, January 11 in an unveiling ceremony hosted by Major League Baseball Groundskeepers and MLB's Baseball Tomorrow Fund. Reagan was selected for the renovation in May 2010 after receiving an application from head baseball coach Thurman Lewis.
Along with members from Major League Baseball including Colorado Rockies pitcher Huston Street, the Baseball Tomorrow Fund and major sponsors, TigerTurf will be honored for their turf donation that was used to renovate Reagan's batting cages.
Formed by Major Leage Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association, the Baseball Tomorrow Fund (BTF) promotes the growth of youth baseball and softball by awarding grants to support projects such as field renovation and construction.
