It’s technical, Tiger

The low down on Indian Summer Turf
Busy work lives make it hard to fit in leisure activities. And we don’t know if you’ve noticed, but modern Kiwis are not so much in love with the whole lawn care thing these days (you know – lawnmowers that won’t start, trimming edges, weeding, etc, etc). That’s why more and more homeowners are choosing a synthetic turf lawn. Smart them.
According to TigerTurf staffer and 1976 Olympic gold medallist, Arthur Parkin, there’s another reason for the trend. The shift towards larger houses on smaller sections means more enclosed courtyards and heavily shaded places between houses, where natural grass doesn’t thrive. At the same time, synthetic turf is evolving quickly (though some clients still ask for “Astroturf” – a product from the 1960’s!).
Indian Summer Turf is at the forefront of synthetic lawn developments. With its green fibres blended with some brown – to mimic the natural new growth and die off in a natural lawn – this turf is another big step forward in realism.
