A busy summer at TigerTurf New Zealand has seen us install over 65 tennis courts around the country, bringing the total number of tennis installations for TigerTurf NZ to over 3,000 synthetic courts.

Over the past four months TigerTurf have had the privilege of installing courts at Lugdon Park, Hamilton (Tiger Pave), Mahurangi East Tennis Club, Northland (Tournament 1000) and the Papatoetoe Recreation Centre, Auckland (Tournament) to name just a few along with a significant number of private court installations.

Tennis was where it all began with one small tufter in Auckland New Zealand and the installation of its first tennis surface almost 30 years ago, north of Whitianga.  Reaching this milestone of 3,000 courts has been achieved through the company’s dedication to continuously researching, developing and testing new technology and products along with a close affiliation with yarn manufactures, sports people and sports governing bodies.

Continuing with this focus on research and development, TigerTurf are launching its latest tennis surface, Advantage, the most technology advanced surface on the market.

Over the years TigerTurf has built up a strong relationship with Tennis NZ and many of the regional Tennis Associations. Notwithstanding the growth of many other markets, tennis remains an essential category accounting for approximately 25% of New Zealand’s total synthetic grass installations.
