Tough deadlines – we eat ‘em up.

While it has taken some competitors 12 to 15 weeks to complete similar projects, TigerTurf took just nine weeks to install Bill McKinlay Park’s synthetic turf system.

Barbara Cox, Chair of Mt Wellington Stadium Trust, who campaigned tirelessly for funds, is impressed by how TigerTurf responded to the challenge and delivered the surface much earlier than expected.

“We found TigerTurf easy to deal with and the whole experience was most fulfilling and enjoyable,” she says.

The new Auckland Council contributed to the project. Ron Armstrong, New Zealand Sales Manager for TigerTurf, says other councils are taking notice. “We anticipate installing up to 20 fields over the next decade. We were heartened that during his election campaign SuperCity mayor Len Brown used the name ‘TigerTurf’ whenever he referred to synthetic playing surfaces. It’s a sign that we’re gaining traction as New Zealand’s premier synthetic turf manufacturers and installers.”
